Emergessence was born during a morning walk by the ocean in spring. As the warmth of the sun touched my skin, I found myself craving a nourishing body oil - something lightweight, intentional, and deeply restorative after winter. Every ingredient needed a purpose. And then the thought came to me:

Why don’t I make it myself?

Oils had already been part of my life for decades. Before becoming a massage therapist over twenty years ago, I worked in an aromatherapy store and later studied aromatherapy more deeply. I’ve always been fascinated by the therapeutic qualities of oils - the way they can nourish not only the skin, but the body and nervous system through touch, scent, and ritual.

By the time I returned home, I already had the foundations for my first formula, The Original Essence, along with countless ideas for what Emergessence could become.

But as the brand began to grow, so did an important reminder: to slow down, stay present, and enjoy the process of creating something meaningful.

Emergessence is more than body oil. It’s an invitation to soften, reconnect with nature, and create moments of stillness within everyday life.
